There has to be some misunderstanding. 108 00:05:49,780 --> 00:05:53,340 We should just meet with this Vincent Secret guy and explain that we genuinely 109 00:05:53,340 --> 00:05:56,600 love each other. And he'll realize that he made a huge mistake. 110 00:05:56,860 --> 00:06:00,280 That whatever information he got is fake and everything will be back to normal. 111 00:06:00,500 --> 00:06:04,900 You're probably right. You two are so naive. This dude's obviously doing it on 112 00:06:04,900 --> 00:06:08,620 purpose. That's impossible, Alia. Why would he try to hurt us? We didn't do 113 00:06:08,620 --> 00:06:12,700 anything to him. We don't even know him. He's not trying to hurt you. He doesn't 114 00:06:12,700 --> 00:06:13,780 care if he does. 115 00:06:14,080 --> 00:06:16,020 All he wants is to create buzz for his channel. 116 00:06:16,240 --> 00:06:17,840 No one can be this mean. 117 00:06:18,220 --> 00:06:19,220 We'll go talk to him. 118 00:06:19,600 --> 00:06:20,600 What? 119 00:06:20,800 --> 00:06:23,140 I sent him a message and he agreed to meet with me. 120 00:06:23,460 --> 00:06:25,760 Alone? You and Adrian are children. 124 00:06:34,850 --> 00:06:38,550 You can't meet with him on your own. I'm coming with you, and I'm bringing my 125 00:06:38,550 --> 00:06:39,550 bread peel. 126 00:06:44,350 --> 00:06:47,090 Wondering what's the point of superheroes Ladybug and Cat Noir? 127 00:06:47,330 --> 00:06:51,110 Marinette? I know, because no truth can be kept from Vincent Secret. 128 00:06:51,330 --> 00:06:55,610 For a year, supervillain monarchs spread terror in Paris, and for a year, Ladybug 129 00:06:55,610 --> 00:06:57,910 and Cat Noir tried to stop him. Did they succeed? 130 00:06:58,430 --> 00:07:02,410 If I hadn't lied to Adrien and Alia and everyone, he couldn't have made this 131 00:07:02,410 --> 00:07:06,390 video. Whether you lied or not, this Vincent secret would have made up some 132 00:07:06,390 --> 00:07:08,210 other fake stories to gossip about. 133 00:07:08,790 --> 00:07:13,730 But thanks to the heroic sacrifice, we are finally free from Monarch. 134 00:07:14,110 --> 00:07:17,510 I couldn't tell Adrian the truth. He would have been completely ruined if he 135 00:07:17,510 --> 00:07:19,490 found out that Monarch was his own father. 136 00:07:19,970 --> 00:07:21,170 Marinette, your mom is right. 137 00:07:21,390 --> 00:07:23,250 There's no point in watching these videos. 138 00:07:23,510 --> 00:07:26,450 That's right. Ladybug wasn't the one who defeated supervillain Monarch. It was 139 00:07:26,450 --> 00:07:29,770 all thanks to famous fashion designer Gabriel Agreste. And without any 140 00:07:29,770 --> 00:07:33,430 superpowers either, except his abilities to design super sneakers. 141 00:07:34,950 --> 00:07:35,950 What time is it? 142 00:07:36,140 --> 00:07:39,700 Almost nine. Oh no, Tiki, these videos made me completely lose track of time! 143 00:07:39,920 --> 00:07:43,440 So now, complete strangers are calling my parents' bakery to say bad things 144 00:07:43,440 --> 00:07:44,299 about me. 145 00:07:44,300 --> 00:07:47,260 These are just innocent little phone pranks. Probably kids having fun. 146 00:07:47,540 --> 00:07:50,720 I don't see how any of this connects to Vincent's secret. Of course it's all 147 00:07:50,720 --> 00:07:53,640 connected! With all the horrible things you claim in your videos! 148 00:07:53,980 --> 00:07:55,200 I said horrible things? 149 00:07:55,420 --> 00:07:59,240 Really? You sure did! Don't tell me you already know what you 153 00:08:05,580 --> 00:08:06,579 want to do later. 154 00:08:06,580 --> 00:08:10,940 Of course I do! I want to design clothes or jewels or furniture, but also... See? 155 00:08:11,220 --> 00:08:12,580 You don't know exactly. 156 00:08:13,470 --> 00:08:16,790 You also said that Marinette had bewitched me. It just means that you're 157 00:08:16,790 --> 00:08:17,790 under her spell. 158 00:08:17,830 --> 00:08:21,210 Is that not true? You two seem very much in love, aren't you? 159 00:08:21,810 --> 00:08:26,310 Uh, we are, but... What about when you ask, will the Aggressed Empire survive 160 00:08:26,310 --> 00:08:27,510 the Baker's daughter's attack? 161 00:08:27,750 --> 00:08:29,550 Are you gonna tell me that's not mean? 162 00:08:29,870 --> 00:08:31,090 I'm not stating anything. 163 00:08:31,290 --> 00:08:33,990 I'm just asking questions. I stimulate people's intellect. 164 00:08:34,210 --> 00:08:37,590 Are you gonna blame me for that? If they start imagining bad things, it's not my 165 00:08:37,590 --> 00:08:40,030 fault. Is this what you mean by imagining? 166 00:08:40,829 --> 00:08:44,110 Listen, I don't want there to be any misunderstandings. I seek the truth 167 00:08:44,110 --> 00:08:45,110 without filters. 168 00:08:45,270 --> 00:08:48,530 How about you express yourself directly to the audience, eye to eye? 169 00:08:49,490 --> 00:08:51,950 You wanted to set the record straight, didn't you? 170 00:08:56,310 --> 00:08:59,330 So tell me, how did you two really meet? 171 00:08:59,550 --> 00:09:03,330 At first I thought, I hate this guy, because I assumed he was best friends 172 00:09:03,330 --> 00:09:05,210 with Chloe, the girl who bullied me at school. 173 00:09:05,690 --> 00:09:09,170 And I didn't understand why she didn't like me. I thought Adrian had stuck gum 174 00:09:09,170 --> 00:09:12,250 to my seat, but he was actually trying to peel off Chloe's gum. 175 00:09:12,510 --> 00:09:14,710 But things got better. Thanks to the umbrella. 176 00:09:15,010 --> 00:09:15,809 An umbrella? 177 00:09:15,810 --> 00:09:17,530 The day we met, it was raining. 178 00:09:17,750 --> 00:09:20,370 I was waiting for the rain to stop. And I had an umbrella. 179 00:09:20,610 --> 00:09:21,630 I didn't want his umbrella. 180 00:09:21,970 --> 00:09:25,050 I didn't know how to get her to understand that I wasn't who she thought 181 00:09:25,050 --> 00:09:25,789 I was. 182 00:09:25,790 --> 00:09:28,010 He told me that he never had friends. 183 00:09:28,310 --> 00:09:31,850 This was my very first time going to school. It was all so new. 184 00:09:32,400 --> 00:09:33,760 And you handed me the umbrella. 185 00:09:34,040 --> 00:09:37,720 You took it. And I fell in love. And the umbrella closed over your head. 186 00:09:39,060 --> 00:09:42,160 And that's when you two became a couple? 187 00:09:42,460 --> 00:09:43,640 Oh, no, no. 188 00:09:43,880 --> 00:09:45,160 I thought I'd made a new friend. 189 00:09:45,420 --> 00:09:49,140 And I thought there was no way he'd ever fall in love with a girl like me.
